How to Unlock Sharp AQUOS Softbank Phone to Work on Another GSM Network
Most cell phones were built to accept an unlock code to release the lock set by the carriers. These Unlock Codes are unique to your phone’s IMEI number and no two unlocks are the same. The process is done Over-the-air. You need to connect your device to WiFI and update the SIM status under the settings as follows:
Settings-> About phone-> Status-> SIM status-> Update SIM status
